My real estate career began somewhat unexpectedly in 2001 in Austin, Texas. Having just graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Communications, I discovered I actually did NOT want to pursue my life long dream of becoming the next Jerry Maguire and fell into a fantastic opportunity with a builder. After earning my broker’s license in 2005, a new opportunity led me to the DC metro area and I’ve been back and forth between here and Texas ever since!
I attribute my success and JOY in real estate to a focus on my customers rather than just the transaction and believe that amazing customer service is the key to pretty much everything in life. I love problem solving and my favorite part of the real estate business is winning a multiple offer situation for my buyers or assisting my sellers through a difficult negotiation. A bit of a techie, you will rarely see me without my iPhone, iPad or lap top, so it is easy to get in touch with me! Whether finding your first apartment or purchasing/selling a multi-million dollar mansion, my dedication to my clients is the same.
Regardless of what city I call home, I strongly believe in giving back to the community. I have laced up my pink cleats to Tackle Alzheimer’s disease, rolled up my sleeves to build homes with Habitat for Humanity and always donated a portion of my commissions to local non-profits. A self-proclaimed sports junkie, when I’m not working, you can likely find me at Nats Park catching a baseball game, cheering on the Caps at Capital One Center or tailgating for the Cowboys/Skins game. Although “home” is with my husband and our yellow Lab Monty in Rockville, MD, I love getting out and exploring all that the DC metro area has to offer.
