As a realtor for nearly 20 years (with 10+ years in the DC metro area), Melody has experience navigating an extreme buyers’ market (remember 2008?), an extreme sellers’ market (like now!), and everything in between.

Melody’s warm, laid-back demeanor and low-pressure approach to sales have earned her an impressive track record. She works with both buyers and sellers, and 99% of her client base comes from referrals and repeat business. Many of her buyer clients are either 1st-time buyers or past clients ready to move up. On the seller side, she excels at helping homeowners prepare and stage their homes for the market in order to receive top dollar.

With her NAR Green Designation, Melody is also well-versed in issues relating to energy efficiency and sustainability in real estate. She believes that by investing in the communities we love, we can help the planet, increase property values, and make the world a better place.

Melody is mother to two rambunctious children, Ellie and Preston, and owner of an even more rambunctious “newfie-doodle” named Hailey. Her family’s personal residence is in Silver Spring, MD, and she has also lived and owned property in Takoma Park, Shaw/DC, and Alexandria.
